Christina grew up on a dairy farm and has deep roots in the Cowichan Valley.
After graduating from the University of Victoria with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with distinction in 2012 she went on to complete her Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan in 2018.
During law school Christina was heavily involved with the Pro Bono Students of Canada, volunteering with a community organization that provides information to refugees and newcomers to Canada about their legal rights, and with a poverty law clinic in Saskatoon’s inner city. Christina specialized her studies in alternative dispute resolution. In her third year she won first place in the College’s negotiation completion and was chosen to represent her College at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition, where she placed third.
In 2019, Christina completed her articling term with Johns Southward. During her articles, Christina gained substantial experience working with the litigation team in variety of practice areas: human rights, residential tenancies, employment, small claims, real property, corporate, commercial, collections, personal injury, family, and estate litigation.
Christina currently practices general litigation in both our Victoria and Duncan offices.
Christina enjoys travelling, cooking, live music, and spending time on the family farm.
