Eric is a member of the firm’s solicitors practice group. He returned to the firm after many years practicing at a large, downtown Vancouver law firm and then acting as general counsel to a Vancouver-based, international real estate development company, where he specialized in high-rise residential and mixed-use real estate developments, construction law matters, secured lending transactions, corporate structures and re-organizations, and office, industrial and retail leasing. Eric also has experience in construction financing and other secured lending as well as transactions related to insolvency and syndicated lending.
Having returned to the firm and Victoria, Eric re-established his practice in the areas of business law, real estate development, construction law and banking.
Eric is currently a member of the Finance Committee of the Board of Governors of St. Michaels University School, and a Trust of the Victoria Civic Heritage Fund. He is a former director of the Friends of the Royal BC Museum Foundation, a former trustee of the St. Michaels University School Alumni Association and a long-time member of the Victoria rugby and soccer communities.
