James C.M. Main*


Jim has substantive experience in most areas of civil litigation including mediation of disputes. His area of focus is on trust and estate claims, commercial and real estate disputes, employment matters and negligence claims. While he has extensive experience in each level of court in British Columbia, he also has decades long experience as an advocate for clients in mediation of disputes and obtained his qualification as a mediator in 1995. He has lectured at the School of Social Work at the University of Victoria and was a sessional instructor for 3 years at the Faculty of Law. He is a past president of the Victoria Jazz Society and long time member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
